Clancy Adams

At Home in Ely

Clancy has been a resident of the beautiful Fen country of Ely since 2010. Originating from Plymouth in the West Country, the Port of choice of Sir Frances Drake and later Sir Frances Chichester. He commenced writing for children and young adults under his given name of Terry Townsend but found that conflicted with another author who owned a replica name and wrote about visiting Inns, not a base for children's stories. Adding a middle initial 'C' did not provide a remedy.

Clancy  is proud to be an O.P.M and of his many days as a Detective.

What is on offer

Novels under the title 'Clancy Adams.'

THE FORMULA KILLINGS

Enter the life of Zak Hardy and meet 'Henri' the pathologist, 'Coops' his housekeeper, and the loves of his life, Ursula and her daughter Bunny, who arrived frozen on his doorstep.

EACH CHAPTER brings a new story as Zak's stupidity drives Ursula into the medical profession in Afghanistan, while his obsession with a serial killer brings danger to all their lives. Only Zak can provide permanent safety for them. The outcome could be disastrous for him.  Would you do as much?

AN ABSORBING STORY OF LOVE AND CRIME-SOLVING.

  Erina Pillai Finds A Life

ERINA'S childhood induced her to follow a set route through life, to work well but without recognition. A loveless marriage and blatant cronyism at work cause her to recognise her worth. Meeting Rory finds the love she was missing, but there remains a horrible lack of confidence. THEN CIRCUMSTANCES force her to face her fears. She has to fly to confront the man she adores. She chose a bad flight, as on board was a gang of terrorists intent on causing carnage in Dubai. Somehow Erina and a small gang of unlikely heroes achieve an amazing rescue, leaving only the pain in her heart. EACH CHAPTER brings a new phase in her life, and you will leave the final words wanting more.

ZAK COUNTS HIS ANGELS

This story is based almost entirely on true incidents. Names, times, and locations have been altered to avoid identification. Using controversy, humour, and pathos It centres around hospital treatment, which means relating circumstances that are comical or ironic in themselves. It is not intended as derogatory in any sense to the medical profession, who evermore produce amazing results whilst under huge pressure. Even they must laugh sometimes.

Zak was given time and opportunity to examine his life, and its values, because of a car accident that gave him a sight of the face of death. Is there any value in seeking help from a Deity at a time of crisis? Whatever the answer, he knew it would be no use seeking help from his horrible mother.

After asbestos closed their YOUTH CENTRE a group of young people who you will adore took huge risks to raise the required rebuilding fee. Always with their wheelchair-bound colleague, a parrot, and a dog, they unwittingly recovered a millionaire's daughter and other women from a kidnapping ring. The book endorses the confidence of youth, with much humour, and some nail-biting moments.

              Writing As>>

This is one of a series using a moving scarecrow as a method for providing interesting but also educational facts to young children. Each chapter involves a different scenario and is short enough to encourage the first-time or second-language reader. Comments have been made that the stories fit nicely into a 'quiet time' period for use by carers or childminders, and provide a pleasant alternative to 'Cinderella' for parents helping children to sleep.

   Terry C Townsend

A series of stories about a teenager named Sammy Tompkins and the extra abilities he gained when his eccentric Uncle made a pair of goggles for him. (He might have been eccentric, but when the first story was written, AI was only someone's dream.) Each time Sammy uses the goggles they take him to a surprise location where a person or animal needs help. In his latest adventure, he meets a girl called Li Na. Is she his American equivalent? TRY A STORY AND SHARE SOME DANGER WITH SAMMY.
